Company History
Darrell Valenti is the founder of Valenti Management and the majority owner of Valenti Southeast Management, LLC, doing business as Chili’s Grill and Bar. Darrell is a highly respected industry leader and has been successful in the restaurant business for nearly 40 years. In August 2004, Valenti Management acquired 9 Chili's Grill and Bar restaurants from Brinker International, as well as development rights for much of Mississippi and Alabama. Valenti Southeast Management has grown to 12 Chili's restaurants.
Brinker International was founded in 1975 in Dallas, Texas, and is one of the world’s leading casual dining restaurant operator with more than 1,600 restaurant locations in over 30 countries. Its flagship Chili's Grill & Bar chain boasts over 1,500 restaurants specializing in southwestern-style Tex-Mex dishes. Chili's menu features fajitas, margarita grilled chicken, craft burgers, and its popular baby back ribs.
